The Environmental Recovery Systems (ERS) is designed to reduce salt brining by recycling salt that normally would be discharged to the sewer. Through a patented procedure, the ERS-3 redistributes the brine discharge back to the softener, displacing the need for completely new brine. The actual percentage of displacement may vary from unit to unit but anticipated recovery is 30% to 40%.
